Arts Achieve! Schools

Arts Achieve! Schools are recognized for a three-year period. Schools that apply for this recognition undergo a comprehensive review by a committee of experts. Schools who provide an outstanding application portfolio receive an on-site visit to finalize the selection process.

Arts Achieve! Schools offer exemplary arts programs, exemplary arts integration programs, exemplary instructional settings, outstanding community connections, or other factors that make them “worth” attention and visiting. These schools have agreed to open their doors to visitors who wish to enhance and/or affirm their arts education practices. Schools provide informational updates on an annual basis.

Arts Achieve! Schools recognized at the ACE Leadership Summit in June 2008 are Egret Lake Elementary School, the School District of Palm Beach County, and North Fort Myers Middle School of the Arts, Lee County Schools. They will carry this distinction from 2008 – 2011.

In 2007, eleven schools were named Arts Achieve! Schools for the 2007-2010 period. Updates are provided for each of those schools.
