Our Pride:
I am most proud of the customized curriculum our arts programs offer.
Achievement grouping allows us to customize instruction for every
student. Students are placed in classes that suit their abilities,
and move forward as performance levels increase. Teachers work closely
with students and counselors to place students appropriately. The
elective master schedule is based on the foundational work with our
arts teachers. It demonstrates the strong commitment our arts teachers
have to their students.

A Visit to Our School:
A TRADITION OF SUCCESS
Diplomat Middle continues its record of excellence earning recognition
from the state’s A+ School Accountability program. We continue
to be an “A” school as well as a “Five Star School”.
Diplomat Middle has scored above the state and district average on the
FCAT test for five consecutive years. Diplomat Middle emphasizes Academics,
Athletics, Activities, and Arts & Music.
At Diplomat, our students build the academic and social skills they
need to succeed in high school and beyond.
Our Special Arts Programs:
Our arts program is tailored to meet the needs of individual students.
We build our offerings around student interest and abilities. We start
from scratch every year to build the arts electives master schedule
of course offerings. Students at Diplomat have the opportunity to
take semester and yearlong arts electives. Students in arts electives
continue to receive state and international recognition. Achievements
include All-State Band, Chorus and Orchestra; All-County Band, Chorus
and Orchestra, an OM team ranked #22 in the world, students selected
to perform in community theater, six Design-An-Ad Winners and invitations
for our Jazz Band to perform at prestigious community events throughout
the year.
