Our Pride:
There are many things to be proud of about the Arts program at Lake Mary High School. The first is in the theme for this year, “Tradition”. LMHS established a strong, sound foundation in the Arts from the beginning in 1981. We also have established a pride based on the diversity of the programs and the great student representation and participation from all groups of students. The parents of our students are intricately and tremendously involved with their children and the teachers in each of the programs, supplying support and help. Finally, our pride rests on the faculty and staff who oversee and instruct in our programs making extraordinary efforts to continue building on the tradition already established. They live by the motto to take things where they are and make them better, not “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”. Our entire staff and faculty are also supportive in whatever capacity they can be to the Arts Programs with interdepartmental teaming and activities. (Walt Morgan, Assistant Principal)

A Visit to Our School:
Anyone visiting Lake Mary High School would see how well our programs are intertwined and how well the personnel work together as a team. LMHS has a great facility set up for the Arts programs. Most every week you can come and see an activity dealing with the Arts, which by the way are well attended by the school and outside community. We have great support and involvement which supplies constant and continuous energy, excitement, and enthusiasm.
