ARTS IN ACTION: Winning Strategies in Business, HealthCare, Social Services and Criminal Justice

Arts for a Complete Education/Florida Alliance for Arts Education will present Arts in Action, a series of forums addressing the arts – music, theatre, visual arts, and dance – as a vehicle for achieving organizational objectives in non-school settings such as business, healthcare, social services, and criminal justice. Forums will build awareness of the value of the arts beyond entertainment and the classroom, and will bring together diverse individuals and organizations to share information and plan for utilizing the power of the arts. In Addition, Forums will foster and create community connections between arts and non-arts organizations/businesses and planning to expand the use of the arts and arts education in non-school settings.

Four ARTS in ACTION Forums, supported by the Florida Department of State/Division of Cultural Affairs, Florida Arts Council, and National Endowment for the Arts, will advance elements of Florida’s 10-year strategic plan, Culture Builds Florida’s Future. Forums will be held in:
