Dr Eric Smith, Florida Commissioner of Education
Florida Commissioner of Education, Eric Smith, will speak at the Leadership breakfast, Friday, June 18. Dr. Smtih's tenure as commmissioner has spanned shrinking budgets and expanding expectations for Florida schools. His commitment to positive change in education has led him from classroom teacher to school administration and educational leadership. He earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University, his master’s degree in school administration from the University of Central Florida, and his doctorate in curriculum and instruction from the University of Florida.
