Lianna Knight is the Principal of the Global Leadership Arts Academy in Jacksonville. Ms. Knight makes it a priority to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure her students receive a challenging, academic repertoire while…fostering and encouraging a life-long passion and appreciation for the arts.

Ms. Knight has been an educator for 25 years and has served as an administrator in Duval County Public Schools for 17 years, nine as the Principal at LaVilla School of the Arts and eight as Assistant Principal at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. Under her leadership, her schools have received many awards and recognitions, such as Florida Arts Model School, Arts Schools Network Innovation Award, Outstanding Art School Award, and North Florida Math Counts Championship. Ms. Knight has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance and Master’s in Educational Leadership.
