Shakespeare Alive!
During this interactive workshop, Orlando Shakes’ Teaching Artists engage your students in an interactive plot summary of one of William Shakespeare’s plays and learn to paraphrase Shakespearean text, distinguishing between the denotative and connotative meanings of words. Shakes Alive! is a perfect companion experience to attending a student matinee! Additional curricula available for other Shakespeare titles; workshop can be adapted for 5th grade.
